Bedaan was founded in Tehran in 2015 with a simple thesis: the Tehran Stock Exchange deserved modern, data-driven, bilingual investment tools. We built one of the market’s first robo-advisory and analytics platforms, serving investors in both Persian and English.
Over the years, the clients who valued us most were not just using our data — they were asking for our judgment: how to structure a transaction, enter a market, or raise capital. Bedaan evolved into a boutique investment and legal advisory firm pairing proprietary market intelligence with senior transaction experience.
We remain deliberately small. Every client works directly with senior expertise, and we take on only the engagements we can serve well.

Shadi Sedghinejad — Founder & Managing Director
Shadi Sedghinejad has spent more than 25 years at the intersection of international securities law, corporate finance, and emerging markets. She began her career at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of International Corporate Finance and the Legal Department of the International Monetary Fund, followed by structured finance and U.S. securities practice at Orrick and Freshfields.
She subsequently served as counsel and international business development director at the Tehran Stock Exchange, as a senior legal consultant in Islamic finance with DLA Piper in the Middle East, and as general counsel and business development director at Hylun Capital Partners. She has been recognized as a WomanI CEO of the Year in Islamic banking and finance (2022–24) and a BRICS Women Startup Competition finalist (2024).
